"Defend the orphan, Plead for the widow" Isaiah 1:17

Rancho Casitas - February 9-12, 2017

Volunteers with Helping Orphans and Widows, will be joining other volunteers, organizations and churches from S. California and beyond to assist Hands of Mercy with needs for the new year.  Rancho Casitas is used as a Hands of Mercy base camp for volunteer teams which serve needs filtered by the Ministerial Association of Pastors there in the Baja, Mexico area.  Building loft home housing for families in need with love and kindness is a big portion of needs met.

Here is list of some work items for the weekend.

-Ladders to top bunks in pink house
-Possibly metal doors on cement showers
-New outhouse hole
-Repair front concrete wall (entry gate)
-Clean kitchen hood fan
-Sand & seal butcher blocks

-Possibly hot/cold valves in cement shower house

-Small hand wash sink in kitchen Continued work on Van Nes house

And a few other things are moving the kitchen hot water tank to the back and building a shelter for it, reinforce library door, cutting apart the old RV chassis and possibly haul it to the scrap yard.
